Export Counseling

One of the International Business Development program's most important activities is one-on-one export counseling with our clients. Our trade specialists counsel clients on analyzing markets, determining export potential, identifying market entry strategies, providing market research, locating potential distributors, agents, and trade leads and answering export-related questions. Our export counseling sessions are most productive if the client has already done some general research. To best serve the client, the trade specialist will want to know specific information about the products and services to be exported. Then he or she can help the client set goals, define a target market, and begin the market research.
